During my time at Shikatani Lacroix Design (SLD) I led the digital experience strategy, digital design and content creation for a new bar and restaurant design for Boston Pizza. BP wanted to deliver a destination dinning experience that would be the go-to spot for sports fans. The goal was to elevate the brand experience and create a fun, contemporary and digital rich dinning design that would excite franchisees and support BP's urban strategy. As part of the digital strategy we helped define the role of digital experiences that would provide relevant communications for visitors. This included finding ways to deliver real time sports information like league scores from the NBA, NHL, NFL, and MLS. A digital scoreboard situated between game day screens provided a custom UI design that leveraged RSS feeds to dynamically populate the content. This allowed a self sustaining digital content communication vehicle that very quickly helped justify ROI in digital investments. The content maintained brand consistency with integrated marketing materials, while coming to life in a new engaging animated motion graphics content spots.
